It is designed to help you manage your breathing, allow you to live a more fulfilling life, and make your day-to-day tasks easier. It consists of an individualised physical activity programme, tailored to your needs, and education and advice on your lung condition.

Who is Pulmonary Rehabilitation for?
Anybody with moderate, severe or very severe Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), who are limited by their breathlessness. Your GP or practice nurse can refer you or you can also be referred by the community COPD team if you are under their care. You may also be referred by your consultant after spending some time in hospital.
